    A professional educator has never researched Welsh medium education in Wales. This book of papers investigates all issues pertaining to Welsh medium education, which cannot be divorced from the Welsh Language climate in Wales. It has been written from a cross-curricula, which refers to cognitive and neuroscience research.

      The concept of bilingualism and bilingual education is very complex.  Children do not go to school to learn to walk and talk. Children go to school to be educated, not simply to learn Welsh.


     Children only have one life. They can only have one education. Children’s education is too important to be left to a spirit of hope, optimism and guesswork.
